WE ARE Open!

The Museum is open Friday to Monday from 10am - 4:30pm during February. 
Last entry 4pm.

​

There is no need to pre-book for normal museum entry, however, please book your tickets online if you are coming for one of our events.​

Admission to the museum and events are free for members who don’t need to book but should show their membership card on arrival.

Visited here on a family trip to Dundee. What a great little museum. It’s packed with great vehicles and interesting displays. The staff were absolutely brilliant and really made the visit even better.


The staff are all volunteers and it shows with their enthusiasm and we’re on hand to answer any questions and tell stories about their interesting finds. They even let our son sit in the Fire Engine which he was thrilled about.
 

I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in Dundee

A massive thank you to everyone who supported our Crowdfunder campaign to raise funds to restore the damaged bricks at Maryfield Tram Depot.

 

Since the launch in mid November over 500 supporters  have helped us raise just over £34,000 including Gift Aid which will all go towards the restoration work to create a permanent home for Dundee Museum of Transport.

Every penny raised will contribute to the costs of restoring the Tram Depot giving you the opportunity to play an important role in the future of this significant historical landmark.

Maryfield Consultation

Dundee Museum of Transport is proposing to renovate and restore the derelict former Maryfield Tram Depot into a new, world-class home for the museum. We want to hear your thoughts and ideas about the project!
